cabana at night

It seems strange to be posting photos of the cabana at night when I haven't yet posted daytime photos.
.
I have to get a mattress made to fit along here so in the meantime I am using quilts that aren't on beds because its summer wrapped in a sheet.

Everything other than the stripy cushions was stuff I had.

I thought it would be nice to light the candles.

 The shadows are so pretty.

A fish pot I picked up garage saling years ago turned into a light.

I was up there reading this book- it's beautiful.

I picked the driftwood up at the beach on my birthday and knew just what to do with it.

  1. It looks so peaceful and inviting Deanne. Do you have any mosquitos around?

  2. Thanks Karen, I actually have mosquito net curtains that slide across at night, but I didn't photograph them.

  3. Can I just say wow?! This looks so completely inviting! I would love to sit here and read and take a night swim after the kido was asleep! You did an amazing job, it really is so inviting. It looks somewhat dreamy too, reminds me of the beach. I love it!
