While I was decluttering my wall unit on Saturday I decided it was time to change my display on the wash stand-come-sideboard.
I thought I would try a white look.
I used one of my visitor tea towels on the marble top and my white Lindau dinner set
and tea set.
I added some white and beige noodle bowls for a slight bit of colour.
I used these forks, they are old ones from my mum and some napkins that I "op" shopped.
I added some sundae glasses with my grandmother's napkins and Mum's spoons, I used cups and a bowl to make different heights to add interest.

ReplyDeleteYour sideboard is beautifully set. The whites and neutrals look welcoming. I really think it was creative and organic to use balls of white twie in the glass cylinder.
Very very well done and a great inspiration.

ReplyDeleteHow pretty! Love the white dishes and the jar of yarn. Your header caught my attention. When I was growing up we had 5 girls and 1 boy. My poor brother had to share the bathroom with 5 sisters! Marcia

ReplyDeleteThanks Laura, here in Australia we don't actually celebrate Thanksgiving, but I hope you and you family has a lovely time!
ReplyDeleteYour sideboard/washstand is wonderful I love that piece. The dishes on there and the colors are my favorites.. great job.
ReplyDeleteThe sideboard is lovely. I love the texture and the 'unexpected' touch of the balls of yarn. Great choice. I think that the way that you lifted the sundae glasses and made them part of the white color scheme is quite effective. Very well done! Thank you for sharing your charming design. Cherry Kay
