Now that I have my wash stand as a buffet/sideboard in my dining room,
I thought it lent it self to a bit of a display area.
As we enter the last official month of winter here in the southern hemisphere (although in our area it can get quite warm towards the end of August) I felt like a bit of a pick me up, some bright fresh spring colours to see out the last greyness of winter.
So I brought out some pretty pink and blue florals.
You can see my little helper on the right pointing to her special cup and saucer.
It makes me smile every time I walk past.
Here I have added some little cakes and peach blossoms.
I have just noticed that they look like the cakes on the fabric.
Cuppa anyone?

I love that you are teaching your little helper to grow up and create lovely tablescapes of her very own! You did a great job. Thank you for sharing your charming design. Cherry Kay

Hi. Your family is gorgeous! Do your boys really look as much alike as they do in the beautiful photo? It's nice that you still have china with 5 boys :) and that your girl has a favorite teacup. My daughters also had a favorite teacup. Thanks for sharing. I know you are a busy mom :)

The children have been handling nice stuff from when they were little- so I think that makes a difference.
ReplyDeleteI think the black and white makes them look more similar than they really are. We have a mix of brown, blue and hazel eyes, and hair colours from blonde to brown
