spring bedroom

Remember I posted a couple of days ago about my bedroom being featured on Houzz and how I had now changed my quilt cover?

Well yesterday I thought I would do a little bit of styling and a "photo shoot" to show the new spring look.

Here is a photo of the bed and the frames- doesn't it look different with just a little change of colour?

Can you see the new additions to the frame collection?

The D which is on my side of the bed in the oval frame and the P above VCH's side for his name and the L in the middle for our surname.

The L was created from an old photo frame that I got B1 to cut for me and then I spray painted gold.

On VCH side is a green placemat and enamel jug with some grass cut from the paddock next door.

(remember this is only styled for the photo- he really sleeps with the phone and clock radio on his side on the bed)

On the other side of the room are my drawers, boots are now put away and replaced with some greenery.

Aloe vera and some glasses holding candles- notice the difference from the above photo when they were lit.

This old cane chair was my grandparents and is slowly falling apart, so I removed it from the lounge room where it got daily use to my bedroom to try and preserve it a bit longer.

This chair was my mum's and I repainted it white, the seat has had a little redo but I made a major mistake with it so when I fix it I will show you a close up.
