Last night I accompanied B1 to his soccer referees' presentation dinner.
It was a lovely evening made all the more special by the fact that he took out one of the major awards of the night!
This is a perpetual trophy given by the top coach of all the referees from North Coast Football.
This is him with the other award winners.
He shared the trophy with another ref this year so they will have to take turns with keeping it throughout the year.
This is the trophy he gets to keep.
Congratulations B1, we are so proud of you and all the hard work you have put into being a referee this year!
