garden update

Here is one of our gardens planted with seedlings and growing.

VCH has also planted one plot with pea seeds.

Here are our meat chickens- haven't they grown?


We lost two in two days- not sure if it was too cold for them or something else was wrong.
So VCH and the B's killed them on the weekend and they are now in the freezer waiting to be cooked and eaten.
They were already quite large when we got them as they were the last ones in the shop.
VCH manages a rural produce store and he always brings the last ones home.
