Sorry for a lack of recent posts, something on our satellite died on the Wednesday night before Easter, and it took two weeks to get the thing fixed, nothing like prompt service!
I have also been down with the flu since Monday night- I can't remember when I have ever felt so sick, I had fevers and cold shivers for over 2 days, waking up covered in sweat in the middle of the night when a fever broke. I have not been able to eat much and have had dreadful headaches and a horrible cough. I am slowly getting better, but still have the cough and no appetite, even though I am not nauseous not everything I eat wants to stay down and I can only eat a tiny bit.
I had a few posts to do about all our Easter stuff, so even though it is now weeks after the event I think I will still do them.
Oh Deanne,
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear that you haven't been well. Looking forward to your posts from Easter.

Hope you make a quick recovery very soon. Sounds no good at all. Has anyone else in the family been sick?

We all had colds a few weeks ago, so a few still have a cough, but this is definitely a flu. Just made some chicken soup so hopefully that will pick me up a bit. I feel OK except for still a bad cough, but am really low on strength and energy.
ReplyDeleteBe kind to yourself. Maybe you could start school term a few days later.

Thanks Karen, planning to as I am not yet organised because we haven't had the internet.
