When I put the Christmas decorations away I put up this little display on the table next to the TV cupboard.
I am trying to encourage B5 and The Girl with their phonics and reading so I thought these few things would grab their interest.
There are several alphabet books and a puzzle, the abc box and in the red tin are these magnetic letters,
on the wall is an Australian animal phonics poster.
In the study on my book display shelves I put a few dinosaur books up as well as a couple of toy dinosaurs to spark some interest.
During the school term I display books relating to the topics we are working on, but during the school holidays I like to put up something else that might spark their interest.
So there you have it some decorating home school style tips.
