Here is the little egg thing that so many of you liked.
I picked the souvenir cutlery up from two different op shops months ago,
they were looking rather sad, amazing what a bit of hot water and bi-carb can do!
The background is cut from the other frame I found last weekend.
The second frame I painted black and have printed a zeppelin onto a page from an old encyclopedia.
This is the little nesting box, I want to add a little bird to the landing place.
Remember this from a while back, lots of people commented on liking this little step ladder.
What do you think now?
I am undecided on whether or not to distress it.
What do you think?
I will be back later in the week with my exciting news that I keep hinting at!

Deanne, wow, you have been busy.
ReplyDeleteAbout the distressing, go for it if it fits with your decor and you like it.... I personally have never seen the point in it.
really lovely deanne! it's amazing what paint can do.

Love the Zeppelin print, that is such a brilliant idea! You are very creative!! x
ReplyDeleteLove all your makeovers. Love the ladder the most. And isn't bi carb of soda fantastic? I use it to solve so many cleaning dilemas.

I think it wouldn't take long for this little red ladder to look distressed with normal use, so I would leave it. I was intrigued by the name of your blog..as I have five kids..four boys and one girl. Nice to meet you.
ReplyDeleteGreat work, my favourite make-over is the step ladder - very clever.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to hearing your news.....
Wow - talk about fast work. They've come up really well. I don't bother distressing anything in my place. The children do that all by themselves....! x
ReplyDeleteThe stepladder looks great. it's all very creative! x
ReplyDeleteSo many cute projects! I love the red on that ladder. It really spiced it up. I would be torn about distressing too, but I think it might do nicely to have a little. But it's super cute as is too!

You rock, great job transforming everything. Love the frame with the silverware in it the best.
ReplyDeleteDeanne - they are fabulous! I'd suggest distressing, but it does look wonderful as it is, too.
ReplyDeleteHope to see you soon!
Cute stool, and yes, distress.
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures esp. the fishing lure.
