23 years on the 23rd

Twenty three years ago on the 23rd September VCH and I said "I do".

To celebrate we went out for dinner last night at a nice restaurant,
a new one we have been meaning to try for a while.
The food was delicious, the service was great, the atmosphere was just right for a romantic dinner for two.
It is right on our lovely river, VCH and I said it would be lovely to go in daylight saving and watch the sun set over the river.

Here I am dressed up for our night out, I picked up the dress at an op shop and even though it was marked $3 the guy only charged me $1.
The little red bag was a garage sale find from a few years back - pre blog.
I have a little white cardi that I really wanted to wear- however it has gone missing, despite extensive searching it is yet to turn up, so the black had to do.

Here I am with VCH all dressed up and raring to go!
Hard to get good photos at night!

Today after church we headed off to our favourite beach for a BBQ picnic.
It was a beautiful day to be at the beach, but the water is still a little fresh for my liking- though the kids didn't seem to care.

If you would like to see what we looked like 23 years ago at our wedding go here to last years post.
