quick update

I haven't posted for over a week- how naughty!
I have so many posts in mind and not enough time to sit down and write them all- maybe over the school holidays!
I have been busy op shopping, garage saling and taking the little kids to the beach and forgetting my camera! Then we went to B2's Grand Final and forgot my camera again!
(just in case you are interested B2's team won in a very close game that included 20 minutes extra time and a penalty shootout!)

So this is just a quick pop in with a couple of my finds- there are so many,
but the chest of drawers I am after are being elusive!

Here is my first find.
I went to a Christian women's conference Saturday a week ago- fabulous day!
One of the things they did was have a recycled clothing "shop" where you could take your castoffs and pick up someone else's for free!
I came home with three tops and one little cardi and I have worn them all over the last week.

The above top is one of my finds, an Asian number in a turquoise colour.

Funnily enough I was garage saling on the weekend and came across these thongs for $1.
I normally don't buy second hand shoes but these looked practically new and for $1 I couldn't resist.
When I got them home I realised they matched my top.

Then on Saturday night I went to a craft night and made these earrings.

So on Sunday I rocked up to church in this outfit,
although I did my hair and put makeup on,
this photo was taken on Saturday afternoon when I discovered the shoes and top matched.
I got lots of compliments- but I did look much nicer than this photo and I probably smiled too which helps!

I got so many things last week that I will just show you a few of the things I found.
I have plans for doing up a few of them to one day sell.
The two stools and the little step ladder I got at the dump, I paid $10 for the lot, our dump has an area where they put things that are still OK and sell them cheap.
That's where I got this mirror also.

Hope you are having a good week, school holidays start next week, and I have lots of projects planned!
