crafty faux pas

This is a crafting faux pas that I committed around my anniversary last year when all the grain sack stuff was the rage.
I thought I would decorate a chair in my bedroom in a grain sack style.
I had some fabric that my MIL picked up at the op shop and I faded it with some bleach to create the look I wanted.
Then I got a stencil and using a fabric pen made a "company logo" with the year we were married - well that was what I meant to write, unfortunately I wrote 1889 instead of 1989- I have been married 100 years longer than I thought!
My how time flies when you're having fun!

I was going to go back and do a new seat cover, because not only did I make that mistake but I wasn't happy with the stencil either, but I haven't been bothered.

  2. Too funny, Deanne! You would need the patience of a saint to be married for over a hundred years! lol

Thanks for playing along. I would love to have you join me each week.

By the way, the picture for the party is not showing up. ;)
