ocean study

We have been doing this ocean study this term, but I have not been able to get down to the beach as often as I would have liked.

Last week we went early in the morning so we could be there at low tide to study the mangroves.

 

We also had to look for sea grasses and sponges.

We were very fortunate to find them near the mouth of the river.

We did have an alternative to go to another beach close by and look in the rock pools for sponges but we didn't need to.

The home made underwater viewer worked great as well.
